The mountains in the back, the sea in the front, the stunning sky above you – Morocco’s nature is so powerful. Enjoy every second in our guesthouse which is located in Tamraght, a traditional berber village on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean.

Darna means « at home ». Feel home in the oriental surrounding of Morocco. While most of our surrounding is focused on surfing and yoga (surfcamps), we offer a calm place on the back of the village for individual travellers. Single travellers, couples, families, guests looking for a change from their daily life. 

Your hosts Sarah and Youssef are happy to share with you their special secret advices for this area. We have a special interest for creativity, culture & music, sustainability, delicious food, sport & holistic events. 

Open your mind and relax

Each of our four rooms is named by one of the four elements air, earth, water and fire. All of them are in an individual flair. Every room has its own bathroom, a wonderful terrace with sea view and a hammock or a exclusive sitting place. This exclusivity allows you to connect with yourself and to leave your daily life behind you. On the roof we offer a fully equipped guestkitchen & an amazing cozy rooftop with a stunning view and lots of place to chill and play. 

You can also rent our place to host your retreat. Contact us for special retreat deals. 

As we would like to give back something to this beautiful place, it became the headquarters of our social project: Support-Flow to Morocco – for helping people in need & straycats around our house.

Der Lichtblick im Dezember
Nach ewiger Dunkelheit und Kälte zu Hause haben wir die Zeit bei Sarah und Youssef sehr genossen. In Tamraght wärmen dich die Sonnenstrahlen Tag für Tag und jeder Morgen beginnt mit Ausblick auf das Meer (von jedem Zimmer). Die Zimmer sind liebevoll gestaltet und mit ensuite Bad. Das Frühstück ist ausgiebig, abwechslungsreich, lecker und wunderschön arrangiert. Der Frühstücksraum, also die Roof-top Lounge ist wie ein Orient-Traum gestaltet und dekoriert, Lädt zum verweilen oder Lesen ein. Die freizugängliche Küche ist ein grosses Plus, wenn man auch mal selber etwas auf dem Markt kaufen will. Wir waren mit dem Mietauto unterwegs und haben so die Gegend erkundet. Sarah war immer erreichbar, hat alles mögliche für uns organisiert und war sehr hilfsbereit. Ihre Tipps und Ideen haben unseren gesamten Aufenthalt gestaltet, ob Restaurants, Kochkurs oder Yoga… Vielen lieben Dank!

Absolutely worth it!
Idyllic, quiet and clean guesthouse with wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean. The rooms are lovingly furnished so that you quickly feel at home. Good starting point for exploring the surroundings or surfing. The great hosts Sarah and Youssef organize everything and read every wish from their lips. Not to mention their commitment to sustainability and the environment!

A guest in an oasis with a view to the horizon
Sarah and Youssef are the heart-warming hosts of this lovingly renovated guesthouse, which they have renovated into an oasis of relaxation. The four guest rooms on two floors, the small and fine kitchen and the common room in the attic all offer a breathtaking view of the bay of Tamraght.

From here all kinds of activities can be undertaken: If you like, you can join a surf lesson, do yoga – or go on one of the many excursions. Either one explores the surroundings from the beach on own fist, or one uses the reliable and practical taxi service, which one can book here individually and take up. The place is about to be hit by an intensive wave of tourism, but situated on a slope, the Maison Darna will continue to be a place of retreat and peace in the future. We will come again!

With our recycling system, regular beach cleanups, the specially founded charity „Support-Flow to Morocco“ for supporting poor people and taking care of strayanimals, we want to set an example.
